"I never thought I have it until I came across this book. There are different attachment styles which is the pattern of behavior one has towards connecting with others. This book specifically focuses on avoidant attachment. It discusses about how your attachment style was developed up to how it affects you and onto how you may cope with it. As the author describes, it's wanting to be in a relationship but always holding back. That's me. That's probably why I haven't found a partner in life. I mean I'm so good at burning bridges that even my friends dwindle down in numbers.

This book talks to me in ways other people won't understand. It's as if the author knows me. The book is well-written and the author placed a friendly tone in her writing. The best advice I found in this book is setting boundaries. I have a lot but this book talks about healthy boundaries and so it leads me to believe that a change in my wall is in order. This book accomplished what any great self-help book, which is change. It changed my perspective, maybe it'll change yours too."
