Review Quotes:
"Having read a couple of Linda's books, I was hoping this would be just as good. I wasn't disappointed. She really brings forward serious considerations regarding the deepest meanings of addiction. Having been to hell and back, I found this not only confirms many of my beliefs but introduces new concepts for me. Not only does Linda explain the healing process, but about relapses during the healing process, and relapse prevention. I'm only allowed to give 5 stars, otherwise it would be several stars more!"

"I feel that the topic of addictions needs more discussion in general. This book relates well to those who are struggling and for those who would like to help the struggling. I love that this book gives hope to the struggling by giving real world counseling techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP). These techniques are described in ways that most will understand how to use them. This book will give you an added boost in your recovery journey or help you to understand how to help someone who is struggling. I would have liked if resources for all the data and facts were used and noted to back them up. Otherwise definitely worth the purchase."

"I am happy to give this book five stars. It is entirely easy to read for anyone who is struggling with addiction or has a loved one struggling with addiction. The content is presented in a sensible, sensitive, logical order through the seven chapters (see Table of Contents), navigating the reader through material that will be difficult, yet each chapter takes you one step closer to success in conquering addiction.
There is no social or spiritual condemnation anywhere in this book. Anyone reading it can come away hopeful, informed, and ready to tackle his/her addiction or understand the situation of a loved one's addiction."
