Description: The lads at the Stag s Head are eager to stage a fishing competition, but there s one problem local businessman Tony Bart owns the fishing rights to that stretch of the Wye. Tony agrees to let the event go ahead, but not without a price he wants a share of the business. Now, the lads have a new challenge on their hands: how to deal with the cuckoo in the nest.
Brief description: Peter J. Thomas was born in Hereford in 1954. He attended Hereford Cathedral School between 1965 71. After working in London for three years, he went to Essex University to study English and European Literature (BA Hons). He has taught English in Abergavenny, Greece, and Saudi Arabia. He got his TEFL in Barcelona in 1990. Since returning from Saudi Arabia, he worked briefly as a carer and, since 2018, he has lived in Hay-on-Wye.
