When Ken, the previous landlord of The Stag's Head, committed suicide, the pub sat empty for a while until three young men took over running it. Could they make a success of this lonely old pub in the heat of the Herefordshire countryside? Brief description:
Peter Thomas was born in Hereford in 1954. He attended Hereford Cathedral School between 1965-71. After working in London for three years, he went to Essex University to study English and European Literature (B.A. Hons).
He has taught English in Abergavenny, Greece, and Saudi Arabia. He got his T.E.F.L. in Barcelona in 1990. Since returning from Saudi Arabia, he worked briefly as a carer and, since 2018, he has lived in Hay-on-Wye, the capital of the second-hand book trade, where he still lives to this day.
