Brief description: With a B.S. in Flight Operations, Necia Richele Davis first took to the skies, following her love of aviation. But when she was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2011, her path shifted from navigating runways to navigating wellness. Wanting to care for her health and be a strong role model for her daughter, she turned toward a holistic lifestyle-transitioning to a more plant-based diet, removing artificial sweeteners and soda, choosing non-GMO and organic foods, and going gluten-free. These first steps grew into a lifelong passion for wellness. Today, Necia enjoys studying herbalism, tending her garden, experimenting with fermented foods, and baking gluten-free creations. Mattie's Mouth is her way of sharing the joy of healthy living with young readers and their families.
