Description:
Engineer Someday is a joyful, bilingual (English/Spanish) celebration of curiosity, creativity, and the amazing world of engineering! Through playful rhymes and vibrant illustrations, children explore ten different types of engineers, from aerospace to biomedical, software to civil. Each is compared to something kids already know and love, like superheroes, chefs, magicians, and explorers.
Whether your child dreams of building robots, designing spaceships, or inventing the next big app, this book shows them that their imagination is the blueprint for a brighter future. With every page turn, young readers are reminded: If you love to build and play... you can be an engineer someday!
Perfect for ages 0-8, this engaging read-aloud:
- Introduces real engineering careers in a fun and relatable way
- Promotes bilingual language development with side-by-side English and Spanish text
- Encourages kids of all backgrounds to see themselves as problem-solvers and innovators
- Supports STEM education, career exploration, and early confidence building
Representation matters. Written by engineer and science advocate Jay Flores, this book was born from a promise to inspire the next generation, especially kids from underrepresented communities, to see themselves in STEM.
Whether you are a parent, teacher, or gift-giver, Engineer Someday is the perfect launchpad to spark a lifelong love of science, technology, engineering, and math.
