Description:

Christmas is Leslie Heathers' favorite time of the year. But when a hurtful rumor surfaces about her late dad, and her ex-boyfriend shows up with an offer to buy the house of her dreams, Leslie can't ignore her growing anxiety. To top it all off, her best friend's teenage daughter is becoming more and more difficult.

Thankfully, a soft-spoken drummer reminds Leslie to slow down and enjoy the real reason for celebrating Christmas. When the warm-hearted musician helps her rescue and train a deaf dog, she finds the strength to make two of the hardest decisions of her life. And just like the beats of a beautifully played Christmas hymn, everything falls into place in perfect Christmas timing.

Brief description: Michelle Lowe lives in Asheboro, North Carolina with her husband of twenty-four years, Brian, and their son, Jake. The family has a feisty cattle dog mix named Amy. Michelle is a Registered Nurse and teaches CNA classes at a local nursing facility. In addition to writing, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and searching for Native American arrowheads on her property. She especially enjoys writing in memory of her mom, who like so many moms, was always her biggest fan.
