Roger earned his Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies from Wayland Baptist University, his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Jana have been married 25 years and have three children. Roger is an avid baseball fan, a fan of great movies, and a full-time coffee drinker.
