Description:

Collection of speeches by a leader of the revolutionary struggle, Amílcar Cabral

Brief description: AMÍLCAR CABRAL (1924-1973) was a Guinea-Bissauan and Cape Verdean revolutionary, agronomist, and political theorist who founded the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC) and led one of Africa's most successful anti-colonial liberation movements against Portuguese rule. He is widely regarded as one of the foremost Marxist thinkers of the African independence era, celebrated for his writings on culture, class, and national liberation, before being assassinated in Conakry in January 1973, just months before Guinea-Bissau's independence.
