Review Quotes:

"From beginning to end in Frank McMeen's easily readable book, Your Life is a Story, the author opens our minds to compare our times and biblical times. With humor, self-effacing stories, and broad knowledge of the Old and New Testaments, the author reminds the reader of the wisdom in the Bible, especially the life of Jesus. His stories of family heroes and heroines and people we meet on life's journey leave no doubt that our decisions, words we say, and how we live are 'our life stories.' "

-Shirley C. Raines, president emeritus, University of Memphis

"Dr. Frank McMeen's latest book, Your Life Is a Story, is a wonderful collection of events and people in his life that shaped him into the person he is.... Dr. McMeen weaves timeless principles from God's Word and biblical characters into his narrative in such a way to illustrate that living a life with purpose is the goal for all of us. The book is an easy read, perfect for two or three evenings or mornings...."

-Ronnie Sarver, former president of Friendship Christian

School and Ezell-Harding Christian School

"This book is a powerful reminder that every individual matters and that our lives are deeply connected. It also shows us a loving picture of God.... A compelling and timely work-highly recommended."

-Dr. Wayne Scott, executive vice president of Bethel

University

"Frank McMeen has been a positive presence in my life for almost forty years now. His transparent look at God's Word kicks over many theological rocks and confronts many sacred cows..... He is truly one of the good ones."

-Devin Pickard, minister and small business owner,

Centerville, Tennessee

"Dr. Frank McMeen has shared stories that can make a difference in the lives of those who wish to pursue satisfying and extravagant lives-lives that are not dependent on wealth, prestige, or power. He compares the extravagance of God in His creation of you and me....Frank's stories of interesting people he has met, faraway

places he has visited, and the wisdom of his parents and friends are intriguing.... He reminds us that, '. . . no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of

man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.' "

-Dr. Milton Sewell, president emeritus of Freed-Hardeman

University

"If you want to be inspired and encouraged, read this book! As a Southern gentleman raised on a farm, Frank is a warm storyteller.... His knowledge and use of the Bible helps explain God's truth in a way that is easy to understand.... that makes it feel like you are sitting on the porch listening to a trusted and wise friend."

-Dr. James Thomas, president of Columbia Academy in

Columbia, Tennessee

"All the world loves a story, and in his third volume of master storytelling, Dr. Frank McMeen has again connected the greatest stories ever told-those of Jesus and the Bible-to the real, everyday life situations that define us.With his creative mind and compassionate heart, it is not Frank's intent to merely inform and entertain, but to inspire....You are writing your

own story, and what you write is up to you."

-Dr. Billy R. Smith, professor emeritus of Bible at Freed-

Hardeman University, minister at Henderson Church of Christ

"Dr. Frank McMeen's life exemplifies a life dedicated to service to others. Frank's writings share his experiences ... while also providing a deeper meaning and often a life lesson...as if he is telling his story directly to them."
