Description:
CSI meets fantasy - with a dash of cozy!
The Oracle of Faedor has prophesied that the secret to victory is buried in the tomb of a woman named Nola Thornton. When Rae's necromancy can't locate the tomb, she resolves to enter the afterlife to speak to Nola. Rae must investigate how to visit and return from the afterlife, find Nola's grave, and uncover its secrets before the king's army arrives. But the first battle approaches sooner than expected. A forward offense of Erline's soldiers are prepared to storm the gates, and Ilene's rebel forces are drastically underprepared. When the King of Erline appears among his troops, Rae and her family must choose whether to risk their lives to protect Hallow's Promise or lose the war before it even begins. All the while, Bubbles is brewing his own secrets... Fix up the perfect beverage, snuggle by a cozy fire, and sink into this almost-cozy fantasy murder mystery, tossed with care, simmered with humor, and made especially for you.
