Description:
From a Wisconsin factory town to the threshold of ninety years, David Kherdian has lived a life shaped by poetry, ancestry, and the rigorous discipline of G.I. Gurdjieff's Fourth Way. A "born poet," he charts a journey of self-discovery where each verse and reflection becomes a step toward awakening the soul.
Through the changing seasons, the silent language of trees and hawks, and the simple artistry of his Armenian father, Kherdian reveals the labor of conscience and the transformative power of remorse. Exile, vision, and devotion to the Work guide him as he hammers away at the self, seeking truth and wholeness in a world often unaware of its own soul. In the fullness of his years, he embraces the mystery of old age, finding joy in the breath, serenity in acceptance, and the quiet triumph of a life consciously lived-a testament to suffering, growth, and ultimate wholeness.
