Description:
Terror takes to the skies...
Gideon Thorn is no stranger to monsters. Since the day his family was slaughtered by an inhuman predator, he's wandered the West, chasing the impossible-and hunting the unknowable. But nothing could prepare him for what's rising in the arid wastes of southwest Texas.
When reports surface of a massive, man-eating creature freed from the depths of a silver mine, Thorn rides into a town on the brink of collapse. The skies are no longer safe, bodies are piling up, and the townsfolk live in fear of what flies above. But danger doesn't just come on leathery wings-on the ground, a ruthless robber baron backed by Pinkertons threatens to crush anyone in his way, including the strong-willed widow fighting to save her home.
Caught between a monstrous predator and a brutal human enemy, Thorn must unravel the mystery before the nightmare claims everything-and everyone.
The West has never been wilder...or deadlier.
