By way of illustration, think of vignettes about a younger person navigating sexuality, elderly populations speaking on behalf of their experiences with abortion access in the 70s, someone living with housing instability trying to access menstrual products. Imagine hundreds of stories, all dissecting the topics that society has deemed "taboo." Advocacy, Teen Pregnancy, Toxic Masculinity, Body Image LGBTQIA+ Experiences, Birth Control, Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault, and Sexually Transmitted Infections. The chapters are designed for you to skip what does not resonate, but to learn and inspire conversations around what does.
Brief description: Audrey Lee O'Donnell is a 22-year-old activist, writer, educator and actress born in Providence, RI and now residing in New York City.Audrey began her work in reproductive health and activism at the age of 14-years-old when she initially worked at a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion center while volunteering at organizations against gun violence. O'Donnell streamlined HIV prevention work, co-chaired public health events and connected with a national reproductive health center, where she then worked for three years. O'Donnell organized protests advocating for safe, legal abortion with the youth organization she cofounded, taught youth their voting rights and voting registration steps and assisted with Sexual Health education youth panels, where she was awarded the HIV/STI Community Youth Hero Award.
