Description: The Las Vegas Aces was founded in 1997 by another name--the Utah Starzz. Since then, the team has undergone several moves and even more name changes. The team struggled on the court in both Utah and Texas, but things started looking up when the franchise found a new home in Las Vegas. In 2022 and 2023, the Aces won back-to-back championships. Today, the team features some of the best players in the sport--including A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, and Chelsea Gray. Coached by Becky Hammon, the Aces have shown their fans what can be accomplished when talented players work together. Part of the WNBA series, Las Vegas Aces tells the story of how a team that went through three states and four names used hard work and resilience to become one of the best teams in the WNBA.
