Description: Everyone gets to be young,

but not everyone gets to grow old.

People often say, "Life goes by so fast," and the truth is, it does. Yet we often forget how to make the most of it. How do we create a grateful life and leave a meaningful legacy with those we love? The Last Best Year is an inspirational walk through the heart of the author as she shares her thoughts on gratitude and the life most would say they desire to live.

Having endured countless tragic losses throughout her life, the author has learned to embrace the unexpected, cherish gratitude, and search for the blessing in every circumstance.

Bless the ones you love.

Give what you can.

Embrace a new hobby.

Forget competition.

Drink the milkshake first.
