Description:

Spilled is a visceral, unflinching book of poems that explores heartbreak, place, survival, and spiritual grounding with a raw, narrative edge. Across sixty-six pieces, I move between desert landscapes, Louisiana heat, haunted memories, and quiet revelations, where each poem feels like a life laid bare.

Brief description: A.B. Parr, Anthony, was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and grew up across the United States. He studied History at Southeastern Louisiana University, earned a degree in Special Education at the University of New Orleans, and later completed graduate coursework in Psychology at Kaplan (now Purdue). Over the years, he has worked as a programmer, park ranger, bookstore manager, café manager, history teacher, and special education teacher.
