Review Quotes: "Like its protagonist, this sweet, poetic tale about a young girl who finds her voice is instantly lovable and wise. Quiet Violet is a talented chef overshadowed by her more boisterous classmates during a cooking unit. When her class has an opportunity to participate in a televised baking show, Violet rises above stage fright and shyness to guide her team towards inspiration. Seasoned author Gabrielle Nidus and illustrator Stephanie Dehennin bring to life an important social-emotional lesson, including helpful teaching pearls for families and caregivers of other Quiet Violets."--Ilana Braun, M.D., Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School
