Description: In Stalking the Great Whore, the long "lost" writings of James Shelby Downard - one of the most enigmatic and fascinating figures inhabiting the American landscape of the late 20th century - are at last revealed.
Part biographical, part theoretical, and part downright conspiratorial, we follow our hero across a 33° latitude littered with all the ghosts and human wreckage he encountered in his pursuit of the one called The Great Whore, along the way battling a legion of fez wearing fiends who forever lurked in the shadows, foolishly attempting to thwart his passage. Fasten your seat belts, ladies and gents, as you hop aboard Dr. Downard's Airstream trailer for a nightmarish ride into the dark night of the American soul.
