Description:
Giant monsters. A fake robot. Zero adult supervision. What could possibly go wrong?
Seventh grade schemer Parker is great at one thing: talking his way out of trouble. So when news breaks that massive creatures have been spotted in the Pacific, Parker convinces his vice principal that the school is in danger. The result? A surprise day off. A kaiju day.
But his plan backfires hard when the military locks down the town and parents seize control-cutting screen time, serving vegetables, and threatening family game night.
Desperate to escape, Parker pulls off his boldest con yet: tricking the mayor into reopening the school so students can build a "robo-defender" to save the town. In reality? It's all an excuse to launch an epic all-day gaming marathon without any adults.
Until the monsters show up for real.
Now Parker has to rally his friends, stop the stomping, and become the hero he only pretended to be-before the entire town is flattened.
Perfect for fans of Gordon Korman, Dan Gutman, and big summer fun, Monster Stompers is a laugh-out-loud middle grade adventure packed with giant monsters, rogue robots, and a lovable kid who might save the world... if he can stop fibbing first.
