Virtual dolls is a commentary on the doll-like aesthetic culture and pressures of the beauty industry fed to young girls and women. The ever growing pressure to curate a perfect face, body, outfit and life for social acceptance. I have used apps to dress up and curate my own virtual paper dolls. Something I did myself as a child. I then produced a short film clip called Virtual Dolls from the material.
