This is a story about a 10-year-old boy living in Kentucky in 1850 and the trouble he got into that made him come West. It tells of his trip and the things that went wrong that changed his trip. It tells of his life and the events of his family that changed his direction in life.
It tells of his son that tracked down and killed the giant grizzly "Reel Foot" or sometimes the bear was called "Club Foot"
It's a true story. Robert Millen Bean was my great great grandfather.
