Description: In today's Christian landscape, there often exists a gap between worshipping Jesus and truly following Him as His disciple. While worship is essential and foundational to faith, Jesus' invitation to His followers goes beyond reverence; He calls us to active discipleship. This book is an exploration of that call.
In these pages, we will rediscover the essence of following Jesus by examining the rabbi-disciple relationship in early New Testament times. Through understanding the historical and cultural context of discipleship, we can uncover insights into how Jesus' first disciples lived and how we, as modern believers, are called to emulate their devotion. The concept of discipleship may feel abstract or secondary to other aspects of faith. Yet, Jesus consistently emphasized the importance of following Him-not just in word, but in deed. Our hope is that this book will encourage the reader to reflect on their own walk with Christ and inspire them to live as His disciple in a world that desperately needs the light of His love and truth.
