David Richard Foster lives on a farm with his dogs and livestock in the remote North West of Tasmania. He has had a myriad number of vocations over the years, from short order cook, to construction worker, and for the past thirty years has been a high school teacher. While living in regional New South Wales, he became an avid horseman. Aside from writing, he is a painter, a former martial artist, and bee keeper.
