Charles Bentley, retired professor of English at Opal College in Opalsville, Mssachuetts, has once again entered into the world of crime. His attempts to achieve enlightenment are thwarted as deadly violence invades the meditation center. And when an acquaintance who is a college counselor is viciously attacked in front of his home, Charles finds himself pressured into trying to find the reason for this assault.
