Description: Discover the identity of Baphomet, how they have evolved through history, and how to work with them in your occult practice.
Tracing the evolution of Baphomet through the works of Éliphas Lévi, Aleister Crowley, and Peter Carroll, author Michael Osiris Snuffin explores how a mysterious name associated with the trial of the Templars became a modern Pagan deity in the late twentieth century. This book demystifies an often misunderstood but essential current of esotericism, providing varied perspectives on Baphomet from diverse practitioners. Michael introduces you to the three symbolic faces of Baphomet--the Spirit of the Earth, the Outsider, and the Transmuter--which define the deity and offer different ways to interact with them. He also shows you how to build a relationship with Baphomet through meditation, ritual, and invocation. This enigmatic deity will not only help you reconnect with the Earth and the five elements, but also inspire you to change your ways and stop harming the planet.Brief description: Michael Butler Murray is a professional actor, narrator, and musician who has voiced over fifty-five audiobooks.
