Brief description: Alexey Kovtunov was born in April 1992. He had a regular childhood and went to a regular school, after which he decided to study medicine. Still, having graduated from medical college, he wasn't in a hurry to join the profession. In 2014, he got a job during the Sochi Olympics as a driver with the US Olympic Committee, after which he found a gig working as industrial abseiler. Only after that did he join an emergency aid team in his capacity as paramedic. It was an interesting job which definitely left its stamp on Alexey's writing. In medicine, black humor is often the only thing that can ensure one's sanity . . . His hobbies, too, have influenced his work as a writer: fishing, books, technologies, computer games . . . all of this eventually resulting in his love for LitRPG. But just as he started trying his hand at writing, the pandemic struck. Emergency teams toiled overtime, making Alexey way too busy with his medical work. Still, as soon as the situation improved, he got busy creating his own worlds . . . and he hasn't been able to give it up since.
