Brief description: Syed Ejaz Hussain is Professor of History, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. He was ICCR Chair of Indian Studies to the University of West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago in 2015 - 16 and has published two monographs: Bengal Sultanate: Politics, Economy and Coins (AD 1205 - 1576) (2003) and Shiraz-i Hind: A History of Jaunpur Sultanate (2017). He also has three edited volumes and a number of research articles to his credit.
