Description: This text book has been prepared keeping in mind the need of subject and syllabus specified by SPPU. The First chapter describes the instrumentation system, sensors, transducers and their specifications. In Second chapter, types of sensors such as temperature sensor, optical sensor, PIR sensor, ultrasonic sensor, image sensor are discussed in detail. Types of actuators such as DC motor and stepper motor are also described in this chapter.
