Brief description: Professor P.V. Rao, did M.Tech from IIT, Madras. He has 40 years of experience in the area of Power Semiconductor Drives, Power Electronics and Control Systems. He worked at JNTU College of Engineering between 1965-92 and held positions as Professor, Vice-Principal and Principal. After retirement, he worked at Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni, affiliated to Pune University and at G. Narayanamma Institute of Science and Technology for Women, Hyderabad. During his tenure of service, he taught M.Tech students also.
