Brief description: KERSTIN KNOPF holds an M.A. in American/Canadian, Hispanic and Scandinavian Studies and a Ph.D. from the University of Greifswald in Germany, where she is assistant professor to the Chair of North American Studies. Her main research interests are Indigenous literature, film, and media as well as Women and Gender Studies.
