Brief description: Prof. Dr. Peter A. Henning teaches computer graphics, semantic technologies, game programming and e-learning at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences since 1998 and Information Business Technology at the Steinbeis University Berlin since 2012. He is founding director of the Institute of Computers in Education. He holds several degrees in theoretical physics (Diploma 1983, Doctorate 1987, Habilitation 1993) and has published more than 130 scientific articles and books. Prof. Henning is in charge of several industrial and scientific projects connected to technology enhanced learning, acts as the scientific committee director of the LEARNTEC, member of the program committee and evaluation board of the Virtual University of Bavaria and member of the board of the eLearning group within the GI (Gesellschaft fuer Informatik). Prof. Henning has initiated and is currently coordinating the FP7 EU project INTUITEL (Intelligent Tutorial Interfaces for Technology Enhanced Learning). Current research activities include the determination of the cognitive position of a learner in a multidimensional space of learning objects and its attribution to predefined learning pathways.
