Description:
Another story for psychology is a book with simple, direct, and honest writing, as its main purpose is to present the truth about the emergence of psychology in terms of contextual and historical perspective. Generally, the story proposed by traditional books for the foundation of psychological science is a linear and natural, synchronic story, as if events naturally led to that outcome in any way. What we propose and present is that human history is diachronic, always being in its context a confluence of circumstances, contingencies, and characters in their choices and actions, resulting in a multiplicity of events, often difficult to decipher in the time of their occurrence. Deep, critical, and good-faith analysis, based on sound philosophy, is essential so that we have the maximum possible clarity and can interpret events in all their aspects, in order to assemble a scenario, a panel for understanding the real consequences and how the past is always influencing the present in a practically sibylline way.
