Description: This book addresses an important and clinically relevant challenge in assisted reproductive technology: asynchronous follicular growth (AFG) during controlled ovarian stimulation. It is comprehensive and integrates physiological mechanisms with clinical prevention and rescue strategies. The inclusion of emerging concepts such as artificial intelligence-assisted follicular assessment adds novelty. However, several conceptual, methodological, and structural issues limit the scientific rigor, clinical applicability, and clarity of the related publications. Strengthening the evidence framework, improving definitional precision, and aligning recommendations more closely with current international guidelines would significantly enhance better understanding and proper management of AFG.
