I delved into books old and new. At times I read about the world of organic chemistry or physical chemistry. At others, I read about organic substances and their therapeutic properties, from oils to natural extracts, until I decided to attend specialized international courses that tied theory to practice.
Through trial and error, training, and long hours of reading and research, I accumulated a wealth of knowledge. I authored this book for fragrance enthusiasts to guide and impart some of my knowledge.
I had hoped to pen a thousand pages to share all I know. However, I resigned myself to include the essential topics that novice designers need as they start their journey and take their first bold steps into the world of fragrances.
