Description:
Whether through painting, installation or performance, Horn uses theories of movement to transform her own body or the physical space it inhabits
German artist Rebecca Horn (born 1944) sees herself first and foremost as a choreographer. From her 1960s works on paper to her performance pieces and installations of later decades, Horn consistently employs the language of dance in her works, all exploring the body's position in space.
