Brief description: Vincent van Bever Donker was born in South Africa, where he received his initial academic training and completed a master's degree in English Literature at the University of the Western Cape as a Mandela Rhodes scholar. He received the Commonwealth Scholarship to study at the University of Oxford, where he completed a D.Phil. in Postcolonial Literature. He currently lectures in English Literature at the University of Northampton.
