Description: An ethical orientation of sport must take the structure of the meaning of sporting action as its starting point and needs to take the grammar of sport seriously. The following considerations on sporting ethics with regard to theology will try to understand the phenomenon of sport first. This attempt is concerned not to make sport a matter of moral orientation but to be challenged by the examination of sport to gain new perspectives on ethics.
