Description: The fantastic has mistakenly been assumed to be limited to the long nineteenth century and reduced to essentialist definitions. A rigorous reevaluation of its boundaries and limits is warranted. This work aims to reestablish its anthropological and transhistoric dimension as an indicator of the crises of cognitive paradigms.
