Description:
Abrupt subjects, scraped layers of paint, splashes, torn-off sections: Molina's works reflect an almost chaotic, sometimes violent spontaneity
Charles Molina (2001-21) was an up-and-coming artist who made his mark on the Miami scene with paintings at the crossroads of abstract expressionism and street art. His works are characterized by a superimposition of materials, techniques and supports, including walls, doors, cars, wood panels and canvas.
