Description: Research in Economics and Public Policy generate understanding and disseminate knowledge about the different issues and aspects pertaining to Economics and Public Policy amongst its stakeholders. It requires placing the results and outcome of these research exercises. The placing of results and outcome can be done through seminars and conferences. Hence, it is in this background the Department of management & Humanities, NIT Hamirpur organized a National Conference on Management, Economics and Social Sciences (NCMESS 2017) on July 14-15, 2017. The conference covered a whole range of issues of concern to Foreign Direct Investment, Small Scale Industries, Manufacturing Sector, Health Care Services, Rural Tourism, Microfinance etc.
