Brief description: Lisa grew up in Rocky Mount, VA, where her treasured parents taught her love for God, family and the outdoors. She and her husband, Ron, along with three sons, moved to Burlington, NC in 1996 where Lisa and Ron still live. They enjoy hiking and spending time with family, especially their precious grandchildren.Lisa shared her heart thru poetry from an early age. She has been writing stories for the past several years that she shares at Christmas gatherings, then tucks them away. After leaving a forty-year career, she felt moved to pursue the call to share her stories. Her hope is to live each day with grace and compassion. I was excited to receive my paperback copy of "The Shed" on Friday!!! I really enjoyed this book and the illustration's. It is a blessing to have a gift from god and to be able to share it with others.
I was blessed with wonderful parents that taught me about Jesus at a young age. I was the youngest of my siblings and remember the BIG red bible storybook we kept in our bedroom. And each night my oldest sister would read from it at bedtime. I remember the excitement as she read each story and loved to look at the pictures.
I think "The Shed" would be an excellent story to have in your library or even a Sunday school class. I can only imagine the excitement of the ears that hear if

This is a sweet book . I enjoyed reading it . I let my niece who is 8 read it and she really liked it! I can't wait to see if this author puts out another book. Very talented and illustrations were wonderful. Great book!
