Brief description: William Luciano is a life-long practitioner of martial arts. He began training Pai-Lum Kung-Fu at age 12 from 1973 to 1976, had a five-year break in training, and began again in 1981; he has been involved ever since. He has been independently teaching martial arts since 1987.In all, William had three primary teachers in the art of Pai-Lum: Richard Macey (1973-1976), Marcia L. Pickands (1981-1987), and David L. Smith (1987-2023); additional training in Pai-Lum was with the following teachers (listed in order of influence): Grandmaster Daniel K. Pai, Thomas D., St. Charles, Phil Hunter, John Weninger, Steve Mathews, and Daniel Anhalt while concurrently training in the arts of the South Shaolin Eighteen Bronze Man Method, Southern Luo-Han Method, and T'ung-I T'ang Kuo-Shu under David L. Smith.William also has experience in a variety of martial arts, having trained with or inuenced by a large number of practitioners, the most inuential being Steven Nacua, Patrick Hodges, Sam Chin, Kwan Sai-Hung, Patrick McCarthy, Yang Jwing-Ming, Liang Shou-Yu, Bruce Juchnik, and Vince Ward. William currently teaches Pai-Chia Ch'üan (Pai-Lum/Pai-Lin Ch'üan) and the South Shaolin Eighteen Bronze Man Method at his private training hall (Ying-Hao Wu-Kung Kuan) in Upstate, NY.
