Description: From beloved Amish fiction author Linda Byler comes a heartwarming story of faith, family, love, and new beginnings in the rugged beauty of Maine.
In A Christmas Surprise, the Kauffman family leaves behind their familiar Amish community in Lancaster County to start over on a neglected farm in northern New England. While Eli and Anna embrace the adventure, their teenage daughter Mandy struggles with homesickness, lost friendships, and an uncertain future. As the family restores an old farmhouse and adjusts to a simpler, harsher way of life, unexpected friendships begin to bloom with the local townspeople--and perhaps even romance. Filled with cozy family moments, horse-drawn buggies, snowy landscapes, renovation dreams, and the warmth of Christmas hope, this uplifting Amish romance captures the challenges and joys of starting over.
