Review Quotes:
"Fortunate Son made me want to read the Bible again!"
-LaShawn Wanak, short fiction author & editor of GigaNotoSaurus Magazine
"A familiar (Biblical, even) story given fresh life and meaning with a SFnal twist."
-Laura Anne Gilman, author of the Huntsmen series
"How do you improve the most Shakespearian part of the Bible? Add mech suits and starfighters, of course! Melinda Mitchell's space-fantasy dives into the blood, destiny and passion of David, Saul and Jonathan, paired with the metal-clanging action of Voltron or Macross. The action is brutal enough to satisfy any military sci-fi fan, but the characters are the truly engaging part of this book, loving and betraying, breaking their oaths and holding their hearts, drawn down the vortex of a mad king's fall. If you loved Iron Widow and Pacific Rim, don't miss Fortunate Son."
- Spencer Ellsworth, author of A Red Peace
