Brief description: Maryjo Koch is an accomplished naturalist painter who has authored and illustrated nearly two dozen books including the best-selling Dragonfly Beetle Butterfly Bee and Eat Sleep Fly: A Butterfly's View of Life. She conducts painting workshops year-round in her Bonny Doon, California studio and has led workshops abroad in Alaska, Italy, and England. She schedules special workshops throughout the year at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Filoli Gardens, and California State University Monterey Bay for the Science Illustration program. Her work has been exhibited in many natural history museums and galleries including the California Academy of Sciences, the University of California Santa Cruz Norris Center, and the UCSC Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery.
