Brief description: Lynne White Poole is a native South Carolinian having grown up in Columbia and raised her family in Spartanburg. She and her husband, John, have been married for 41 years. They raised two boys and are now the proud grandparents of a granddaughter. Lynne took care of their oldest son, Lee, who had profound disabilities. Throughout Lee's life, she worked as an advocate for individuals with disabilities and was involved in creating new programs for adults with disabilities who were considered medically fragile. Always involved in her community and active in their sons' lives, she now enjoys retirement with her husband on the lake. Lynne and John are members at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
