So this book....I had looked forward to this because it was going to be the backstory of Sir Thane Davis - the history that we didn't know. How he met the "other" guys - Durov and Anderson. And how they became good friends. I already had this book written in my head, I thought I knew what it would be. Ha! Wrong again. I loved seeing the impact he made even as a "newbie" to the lifestyle. His inner power was evident even at a young age and it was so enthralling! Even when his world was threatened, that power practically exploded off the page and drew me in.
