Brief description: WI Author / Illustrator Janet Toonen is a two time Purple Dragonfly Award and Story Monster Approved Award winner. She both writes and illustrates her stories, creating unique and memorable characters. A lifelong fine artist she also has worked as a graphic designer. Janet grew up in the Door County peninsula of northeast WI. She took her studio courses through the University of WI Oshkosh. 2015 she founded Stay Toon'd Publishing to sell her children's books and also artwork for products from her illustrations.
