Brief description: Anne Emond is a writer, illustrator, and drawer of comics living in Brooklyn. She graduated in 2010 with an MFA from the Illustration as a Visual Essay program at the School of Visual Arts. In 2014 her comics were awarded a gold medal from the Society of Illustrators. Her artistic heroes include Saul Steinberg, George Grosz, Edward Gorey, Kitty Crowther, Maurice Sendak, and Lynda Barry.
